I had initially contacted another appliance repair person to help me with my stove because the electrical panel was malfunctioning. This gentleman couldn’t help me because he didn’t work on gas appliances, so he referred me to Appliance Care. You know their reputation must be solid when another repair company recommends them. When I called them, it was very refreshing to have someone from an office answer the phone (as opposed to leaving a message on someone’s cell phone.) They made an appointment for me for the next day with a window from 10:00-noon. Hubert showed up at 10:00 on the dot and was such a kind gentleman. When he opened the back of the stove, he immediately said, “I found the problem!” He showed me that a relay had become unplugged which had created a short in the electrical panel. He cleaned the relay, which was nearly rusted shut, plugged it back in and everything was fine. I was so incredibly relieved because I was bracing myself for an expensive repair or having to replace my old stove altogether. Hubert could have easily overcharged me to replace the entire electrical panel, but he didn’t. He kept things simple and very inexpensive. I have now added Applicance Care as a contact number in my phone because I never want to lose them!
